Make Money Selling Other People's Stuff Online by Shalisha Alston
30.12.2013 17:28Make Money Selling Other People's Stuff Online by Shalisha Alston
Unemployment is at an all time high. Thousands of people are losing their jobs every day. People are losing their homes. Panic abounds on Wall Street. Every day people go to work and live in fear of getting laid off.
No one expects these kinds of turbulent economic circumstances, especially during profitable times. Unfortunately, what goes up must come down. The same holds true for the economy.
If you are one of thousands who have lost their job, you do not have to succumb to fear of financial insecurity. If you learn how to think outside the box, you can make money selling other people's stuff online.
Contrary to popular belief, you do not have to have your own website to make money selling other people's stuff online. Nor do you need to have any prior knowledge of internet marketing. The process of making money selling stuff online is very simple. You'll need 5 basic things:
1. Goals
2. Computer
3. High Speed Internet
4. An affiliate marketing forum
5. Domain Name
You need goals because in order to achieve anything, you need what is called definiteness of purpose (another word for goal). You have to know exactly what you want Parajumpers. So for instance, if you want to make a lot of money selling stuff online, declare exactly how much money you want to make.
A computer is a must, nothing fancy. A simple laptop will do. However, you must make sure that you have high speed internet and good basic software such as Microsoft Word or Wordperfect.
You will need high speed internet because that is how you will sell your affiliate product online. If you have a dial up, it will eat up your time. If you want to make money online, time is money.
Once you have those items in place, you will need an affiliate product to sell. Do not panic if you do not know what an affiliate product is, let alone sell one. An affiliate product is a product that you sell online on behalf of a merchant (the owner of the product).
There are 1000s upon 1000s of merchants who want and need people to promote and sell their products online. Why?
1. The internet is the fastest way to give these companies maximum exposure of their products.
2. It is cheaper for merchants to have 10 affiliates distribute their product than to pay astronomical advertising fees from conventional advertising agencies.
3. Increase in business by reaching millions of people in the quickest time possible.
For someone who does not have marketable skills, affiliate marketing is the way to go. Did you know you can write a short article promoting a product and have that product link ensure that you get the commission for the sale? That is the beauty of affiliate marketing.
Here are the benefits of affiliate marketing:
1. You do not need to store any products in your home
2. You do not need money to get started
3. You can be a high school dropout, have absolutely no skills and still make tons of money online
Affiliate marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. It does take some work, but honestly, it is very easy to earn a very good living doing this kind of work from home once you have mastered the basics.
What if you have absolutely no internet marketing experience? Do not worry. What you can do is pick a quality eBook (eBooks are dirt cheap online) that gives valuable information on how to start make money selling other people's stuff online.
In lieu of an eBook, you can join any one of many affiliate marketing forums. Some of these forums are free and others are not. What I have found is that the fee based affiliate marketing forums are the ones that take you by the hand and help you step by step selling your affiliate product online.
It is not enough to just post to a forum and wait around forever for someone to get back to you. On the contrary, fee based affiliate forums enable you to get immediate feedback to your questions and provide the necessary resources for you to start making money online immediately.
Ditch Corporate America in favor of being your own boss. You really can make money selling other people's stuff online.

3 Tips for Dealing with Wholesale Suppliers for Your doudoune parajumpers eBay Business by Amanda O'Brien
25.12.2013 16:323 Tips for Dealing with Wholesale Suppliers for Your eBay Business by Amanda O'Brien
Knowing how to deal with wholesale suppliers for your eBay business could help to make your business great. However, you may have heard rumours of horror stories regarding wholesale suppliers that never actually supplied the goods, or only provided items of an appalling quality. Perhaps you yourself have had a bad experience in buying in bulk from a supplier, only to find the demand for your item tailing off quickly and leaving you with masses of stock left over.
No matter what your experience in dealing with suppliers, it is essential that you learn how to deal with wholesale suppliers for your eBay business to grow doudoune parajumpers. The following few tips will help you to source a great supplier, to ensure that your goods are always delivered on time and to a high standard, and even to lower your costs by doing a great deal.
Tip 1 Finding a supplier
Some of the best deals to be had from wholesale suppliers come from overseas, particularly from countries like China where goods can be produced for a cheap price. However, if you have limited experience in dealing with wholesalers, it makes more sense to start locally, with a company that you know you can easily contact.
Local wholesale suppliers can be found within your local phone book, and the internet can be used to track down other potentials within the country. Some wholesale directories can be useful in finding good and reliable companies, but some of these do cost money. Once you have a shortlist of potential wholesalers, head to Google and search for reviews from buyers that have used them in the past.
Tip 2 Getting great service
In dealing with a supplier it is important to establish at the outset that you are a serious buyer. Use the telephone rather than email to make contact after an initial enquiry, and dont be afraid to keep calling with every question you have or to confirm the delivery date of your items. Constant communication will help your wholesale supplier to realise that you wont take missing or delayed items lying down.
Reputable wholesale suppliers will usually offer you the option of purchasing a small selection of stock before placing a larger order. Take advantage of this, and if it isnt advertised then ask for it. You might have to pay a little more for the goods, but a small sample will help you to know if you are buying a quality product.
Tip 3 Bargaining for the best price
Once you have settled on a supplier and chosen a product, it is time to agree on a price. It may be easier to bargain with a supplier face to face, hence the advantage of a local provider, particularly as you get used to understanding how wholesalers work. Dont be afraid to ask for a lower price Parajumpers. The people that you are dealing with will be used to it and will not think less of you. Remember that there is always a deal to be done, particularly if you are prepared to buy in bulk.
Hopefully these simple tips will have given you an introduction in how to deal with wholesale suppliers for your eBay business.

Measure for Measure alexander mcqueen dresses
10.12.2013 17:06Measure for Measure Can you imagine playing hockey without a goal? Basketball without hoops and nets? Football without a goal line? Golfing without holes or greens? There may be leagues where it doesnt matter whether anyone is keeping score, but not the big leagues. Champions of the Super Bowl, the Stanley Cup, the Masters can only be determined when there is someone keeping score. In hockey, keeping score means counting the number of times the puck gets into the net. In golf, keeping score means counting the number of strokes one takes over a defined course. Keeping score means identifying objectives and giving points to those who achieve them. Why is it that so many businesses do not, or will not, keep score when it comes to spending money on advertising? In a recent edition of Advertising Age a survey indicated that nearly 70% of all businesses do not measure the results of their advertising efforts. Could this be a contributing factor in why so many fledgling businesses fail in their first five years? MEASUREMENT AND ACCOUNTABILITYOne reason companies may not measure the return on investment for their ad dollars is simply that they do not believe it is possible. Measurement is a must if there is ever to be accountability or management of an advertising and marketing program. As they say, you cant manage what you dont measure. Granted, its not always easy to measure results from many promotional activities. That doesnt mean we are exempt from making the effort. Choosing not to measure is the same as playing cards in a pitch black room with the lights out. Let there be light! While it may be difficult to measure the results of a specific press release, for example, you can to some degree measure how many magazines, radio stations and newspapers pick up that release. You then make a mental note and begin building a benchmark. From a documented sequence of experiences you can begin to learn what works and what doesnt when it comes to getting publicity. HOW MUCH DO YOUR LEADS COST?The first step is deciding what needs to be measured, and then to set up systems for measuring them. For example, if I spend ten thousand dollars for an ad or ads, how many leads will it generate? By leads I am referring to prospects who take initiative to contact the company. To capture this number you may need to set up a toll free order number specifically designated for in-coming leads. Or you may use coupons that you later count when mailed in or redeemed. If doing direct mail, you may use a postage paid card or return envelope. Internet marketers have created all manner of cybersystems for tracking responses to e-mail campaigns, banner ads and the like. Whatever the medium, the common denominator is the ability to measure response.I havent always thought this way. My first experiences in advertising were haphazard and intuitive. It wasnt until I read David Ogilvy in 1986 that I learned that theres a better way. Ogilvy in turn, tips his hat to Claude Hopkins, a revolutionary ad copywriter and pioneer who set down his principles of advertising in a volume called Scientific Advertising. In the fifty years since Hopkins, studies have been made of nearly every variable in advertising. For example, it has been determined that five times as many people read a headline as the body copy of an ad. Does your headline, therefore, make a promise? Does it entice readers to follow through? Or is it only clever and meaningless? Heres another example. An ad in reverse type, especially fine print, will be read by fewer people than normal black on white. It may look cool from a design perspective, but is your objective to look cool or to communicate a message? Analysis has shown which are the most powerful words to use in headlines, the most persuasive phrases and whether color is valuable or a waste. But ultimately, until you begin measuring for yourself you will never be certain what works and what doesnt. While doing a direct mail campaign for The Chromaline Corporation in the late 80s I designed a three panel self mailer with a tear off bounceback card on it. We printed three versions of the mailer, each version identical except the offer. One mailer offered two for the price of one, another ten dollars off, and the third buy one get one free. Before mailing it I walked around the office and took votes on which version would bring the most response. To my surprise, the version with the least votes brought the best returns, a vivid example of the value of testing and measuring.Keep in mind that you might have the right message but in the wrong magazine. You will never know unless you measure and test. THE NEXT LEVELKeep in mind that getting the maximum number of leads is not necessarily the best goal. If you gather a truck load of poor quality leads you will end up with discouraged salespeople who feel they are wasting their time in follow up. The objective, it seems logical to assert, is to find a way to obtain high quality leads with the greatest likelihood of conversion to customers. If able, you should make every effort to measure how many leads become customers. This may be difficult in some circumstances, but by a determined effort it is possible in most situations to gain a sense of this even if it only by noting the number of complaints that come from your sales team. To increase lead quantity you need to give people a reason to respond, a reason to pick up the phone. The Dominoes Pizza coupons I get have an expiration date that urges me to use them or lose them. At AMSOIL we offer a free catalog or literature related to the products we are promoting. To improve lead quality you may need to create barriers to response. Some companies ask prospects to place a stamp on the card they mail back. The reasoning is that if a potential customer wont spend thirty-seven cents for more information, they are not likely to spend thirty-seven dollars for the gizmo.Claude Hopkins was a strong opponent of free samples. Samples often demean value and ruin sales instead of generate them You need not to be a Hollywood star just to have the right and privilege of wearing an alexander mcqueen dresses, it is every woman's freedom to own and wear a Alexander Mcqueen for as long as they want.. While at Chromaline, on the other hand, we used to sell our samples. In addition, we followed up with phone calls to began the relationship building process. The customer was suddenly accountable. He or she was told that we would follow up and see how the product worked for them. It was highly effective. SUMMING UPUltimately, you cant do the numbers unless you have the numbers. How much does it cost to get the leads? How many leads? How many of those leads become sales? How much is the average sale? If you know what the average purchase generates, and you know your profit margins, then you begin to get a picture of which ad activities are profitable and which are wasteful. The key to success, whether a large business, small business or even a non-profit organization looking for new members, is to do more of what works and less of what doesnt. Its really not that complicated huanghaiyan251. And when its working, it can be downright fun. But you will never know until you measure.####
Internet Marketing on a Low Budget- An Open Letter by Patsi Krakoff, Psy. D., The Blog Squad
09.12.2013 17:26Internet Marketing on a Low Budget: An Open Letter by Patsi Krakoff, Psy. D., The Blog Squad
Recently I was contacted by a client who was frustrated that her marketing efforts were not producing results like she expected. In an attempt to address her concerns, I realized how many other professionals are in the same boat. What follows is an open letter to professionals everywhere who are struggling to attract new clients and make money online.
Dear Entrepreneur and Professional:
First, let's address the issue of finances. I understand fully what it is like to invest in your own business, work hard, and see little income huanghaiyan251. Sometimes it seems as if you work for pleasure, and indeed there is much pleasure involved. It's not unusual for entrepreneurs to be passionate about their business and services and many would do what they love for free.
But it can't work that way, and you must see the money or your business will perish. Finally, after a couple of years of trickle income, we are now seeing results in our own online business, and are making a comfortable living solely from information and services sold on the Internet.
It takes time. And it involves having lots of digital information products people can buy and download instantly. In order to sell them, you have to have a powerful web presence and be easily findable to the millions of people who Google for solutions to their problems.
People can't find you with just a web site. You need a blog, and you need to write on it frequently - daily is best; two to three times per week is good. An electronic newsletter, or ezine, is also a great marketing tool, and it needs to be posted on the Web, or on your blog.
You need to write and submit articles to article directories so people can find you better. Your articles need to include contact information and links back to your website and products.
You need the infrastructure in place so you can follow up with automated email messages to people who contact you requesting information, purchase your products and register for your events Turn your world for the remarkable alexander mcqueen skull scarf and let it be another must have in your fashion conscious closet..
It's a good idea to do teleclasses, some for free, so you build your list, connect with people and get them into your higher priced seminars.
There are other business models, and I am most familiar with what I have done myself, and helped other entrepreneurs to do.
When Denise and I joined Tom Antion's Mentee Program, it was a considerable financial commitment. We send him a check every month out of our earnings, which are steadily increasing thanks to his tutelage. It's worth it to learn and model what works from one who has been there and is a multi-millionaire.
As the saying goes, you can't get to Carnegie Hall without lots of practice, and that takes an investment of time, patience and money.
There are no easy solutions. Continue doing what works and invest in those areas of your business that provide the biggest payoff. Get training. Invest in the infrastructure and tools that allow you to save time and market effortlessly. Avoid overwhelm by implementing tools slowly, getting used to one and observing your results before going to the next step. Building a business on the Internet is not about getting rich quick. It's about hard work and persistent effort that will pay off in the long run.
Internet Marketing - Get Passed the Hype by Kelvin alexander mcqueen clutch Rush
09.12.2013 17:06Internet Marketing - Get Passed the Hype by Kelvin Rush
Its very easy these days to get carried away with all hype that surrounds the internet, especially when it comes to making money. Lets be honest, there are many tried and tested methods and systems that can generate a regular source of income huanghaiyan251. The problem is, getting past all the hype that comes with it.
For example, I have been making money on the internet for many years now, so I know what works for me and what doesnt. I can only go on my own personal experiences and what I have learnt over the years. I do not base my opinions on anything I read, see or hear on the internet, unless I know the information is accurate.
So if I see a product claiming to generate $20,000 per week, for less than an hours work a day, I tend to run a mile. The fact is, even if the product is half decent, the marketing message is so ridiculous, that the product becomes irrelevant. But yet so many marketers use these tactics, Why?
Well most of the time its ignorance and laziness. Ignorance in the sense, that because everyone else seems to be using this method it must be right. Laziness in the sense, that they simply cant be bothered to spend the time, to find out if it actually makes money or not.
I can receive as many as 100 emails every week from internet marketers. I am on the mailing list of some of the top internet marketers on the web today. Guess what? without exception, they all use the exact same techniques. It goes something like this: Firstly, you join their mailing list, as you believe you are in the company of an internet marketing genius, (what this person doesnt know about internet marketing isnt worth knowing) Turn your world for the remarkable alexander mcqueen clutch and let it be another must have in your fashion conscious closet..
Secondly, you begin to receive some really useful information, it maybe free reports, videos or audios. So far so good. But then after about the fifth or sixth email, the useful information stops and all you receive now are endless promotions, mainly for affiliate products and services.
I am not talking about mass control here, where you dangle the carrot before the sale. At least with mass control, you are given a taste of the product or service well in advance of the purchase. So you have a very good idea of what you are getting before you commit to buy. This method is different from that approach, this is far less ingenious and much more direct.
The concept here is simply a numbers game. You have a list of 5,000 readers. You send out weekly or sometimes daily emails, promoting every affiliate product under the sun. On the upside, 10% of your readers actually buy the product, which generates a nice affiliate commission. On the downside, 500 readers unsubscribe, as they are fed up of receiving so many of your emails. The outcome is, you are $20,000 richer and have only lost 500 readers, but as you are increasing your mailing list each day, one will offset the other. Remember its a numbers game.
However, eventually what happens is your readers cotton on. They now understand that all you are doing is making money, from what you think is their ignorance. The fact is, because you are making affiliate commissions on most of the products you promote, you simply cant be taken seriously anymore, and eventually your so called guru status, ends up in the internet graveyard. Even when you promote one of your own products, which you are far more passionate about than your affiliates, you still receive the same reaction from your readers.
Im not saying this system cant generate a regular income, what I am saying, is dont assume you need to follow the same path. Try something different with your readers, and stop assuming your readers are either naive or stupid, because eventually the numbers will simply dwindle away.
Incidentally, out of all the top internet marketers I receive information from, Stephen Pierce is by far the best. I only receive emails from Stephen maybe a few times a month and the material he provides in second to none, check him out.
I'm building a recession proof online business. Would you like to join me?
How To Avoid Hidden Loan Charges
07.12.2013 17:03How To Avoid Hidden Loan Charges Taking out a loan is extremely simple nowadays, with so many companies offering loans to more people and at excellent rates. However, some of the deals that seem to good to be true often have hidden charges that can make the loan costs much higher than you might have known. If you know about the dangers of these hidden charges, then you can easily avoid them and get a loan that is cheap and fair.More than just APRWhen you are shopping for a loan, you need to remember that the costs involved in repayment are more than just the advertised APR or Annual Percentage Rates. There are many other charges that you need to take into consideration, many of which the lender will not clearly point out. It pays to know about these extra charges, so that you can get a loan that suits your needs and doesnt put you under financial pressure. Redemption feesMost lenders do not talk about redemption fees when you make your application, but they are something that you should know about if you want to pay back your loan early, which many people do. When paying back your loan early, many lenders will charge you up to two months interest for doing so. These penalties are usually the same whether you pay back your loan straight away or a month before it finishes. However, more and more lenders are starting to reduce or scrap these penalties, as borrowers become more aware of their implications. Before taking out a loan, find out whether or not the lender charges redemption fees, especially if you are taking out a loan that you will repay early.Rule of 78 Redemption fees are not the only thing you should look out for if you are going to repay your loan early. There is also a charge called the rule of 78 Turn your world for the remarkable alexander mcqueen clutch and let it be another must have in your fashion conscious closet.. This rule is quite complex, but lenders rarely mention it. Basically, if you repay your loan early, then you have to pay extra interest. This interest is calculated on a sliding scale, and is so called because it originally came from adding together the interest from the first 12 numbers of a 12-month loan. So, the earlier you pay back your loan then the more interest you will pay huanghaiyan251. Although this charged has now been scrapped for all new loans, if you already have a loan then you should check to see if this rule applies to you.Loan insurancePerhaps the biggest trick that lenders play on unknowing borrowers is to simply include the cost of loan protection within your payment. Many lenders will simply give you a quote that includes the loan protection cover, which can often cost you a lot of money. Also, the lender might include the full cost of the cover at the beginning, meaning any interest or penalties are paid on a higher amount than just the loan amount. You should always ask a lender whether the quote they have given you includes protection or not. If it does, then think about how much you could save without the protection. Of course, protection can be useful if you think you will need it, but there are cheaper options. Your current employer may cover you for some of the protection clauses, or you can get similar loan protection from other companies at much lower rates than the primary lender. Making sure you have the right loan insurance for your needs can save you literally hundreds of pounds in charges.!Just remember that once you know about these hidden charges, it is easy to avoid them and find a great loan deal.
How Smart Brands are Beating the Recession with DRTV by Timothy R. alexander mcqueen clothing Hawthorne
07.12.2013 16:44How Smart Brands are Beating the Recession with DRTV by Timothy R. Hawthorne
As a consumer product brand manager or marketing leader, the choices you make over the next few months during these tough economic times can either make or break your brand, and either ascend or descend your hard earned career. Its likely that you and your colleagues are currently facing a vast number of serious issues with no simple, clear solutions. Lower revenues and tight cash are forcing most companies to make defensive spending cuts that could erode market share, brand equity and profitable growth for years to come. Your general advertising budget has probably already been cut. Your new product launch may have been shelved. You now have to justify all expenditures and wish you had more data to sell through the ideas you were hired to deliver on huanghaiyan251.
A recent McGraw-Hill study of 600 businesses found that companies which maintained or increased their ad spend saw higher sales growth during a recession and in the years following, experiencing a 256 percent increase in sales compared to those who cut their budgets.
Our objective for this brief guide is to illuminate a fresh perspective of seeing opportunity within these trying times and provide you and your company with a tactical vision for thriving in the midst of a recession.
10 Good Reasons to Test Direct Response TV Now
1. Test and Launch Fully Accountable Campaigns
Many brand advertisers drastically cut their advertising during recessions seeking to conserve cash. Since branding is most often a long term investment, it becomes less important than a healthy balance sheet. You may not realize that many consumer product marketers in some of the same product categories that have severely cut their general ad campaigns are thriving and gaining market share right now with accountable, integrated direct response television (DRTV) ad campaigns. Theyre measuring the effectiveness of creative execution and media expenditures by tallying phone responses (800 #) and web visits. Theyre analyzing inquiry and order conversion metrics, along with website engagement and click paths. Theyre using this data to make immediate data-driven revisions to creatives and media plans thereby maximizing effectiveness and efficiency. Warning: it can be addictive to get this much market feedback information this fast:. And a revelation to finally know which creative executions really work.
2. Grow Market Share with Significantly Fewer Dollars
DRTV has proven to be highly cost-effective in driving customers to retail stores and lifting sell-through. For every product that a DRTV commercial sells direct to a consumer, 5 to 12 units are typically sold at mass retail. For the cost of 30 seconds in prime time, advertisers can fund dozens of airings across a broad range of stations. Additionally, the direct response metrics of a long- or short-form DRTV commercial can be accurately tested with as little as $25,000 in media expenditures. If your brand's TV budget has been cut, it is still possible to succeed with a DRTV-driven marketing campaign and there's a measurable return on investment.
3. Make Immediate Tactical Campaign Adjustments
A DRTV-driven marketing campaign delivers immediate, actionable results. Properly managed, on a daily basis, every consumer response to a DRTV ad is matched with specific airings and measured against ROI goals. DRTV media planners and buyers optimize media budgets by adjusting strategies, budget levels and renegotiating rates, with changes implemented in days, not weeks. And marketers can create and test new offers and compare against controls within weeks, not months.
4. Reach and Motivate Todays Demanding Consumers
In our new, consumer-driven, fragmented media universe, consumers are seeking more relevant information at more touchpoints. And, when times get tough, consumers do more comparison shopping You need not to be a Hollywood star just to have the right and privilege of wearing an alexander mcqueen clothing, it is every woman's freedom to own and wear a Alexander Mcqueen for as long as they want.. They track down the best deals, clip coupons and wait for discounted offers. They tune out messages that are not relevant to the problems in their lives right now. DRTV routinely demonstrates product benefits as solutions to everyday problems. With longer selling messages and prominent value based offers, DRTV always speaks the language anxious consumers want to hear. Free premiums and discounts are popular any time; in a troubled economy, they're compelling.
5. Your Brand will Benefit
Forget yell and sell Saturday Night Live fodder. Brandmercials are sophisticated creatives executed to protect/promote brand equity while generating a measurable response. Hundreds of top brands such as P&G, Nissan, Philips Electronics, Hoover, Neutrogena, Schering-Plough, Bank of America, and Jenny Craig have utilized short-and long-form DRTV to successfully launch new products or revive lagging sales. DRTV campaigns have been crafted to be brand-conscious while also including direct response elements that enable media optimization and measurement of campaign ROI. Post DRTV campaign research conducted by several brands consistently has shown more positive attitudes about the brand following an opt-in viewing of a half-hour Brandmercial.
6. Retailers Love DRTV Campaigns
Many brand marketers are still under the impression that selling DTC and distributing the same product in retail stores creates channel conflict when, in fact, the exact opposite is true, as long as you dont undercut the retailers price. Retail chain buyers in every consumer product category have seen the positive impact that a DRTV-driven campaign can have on in-store demand and sell-through. In fact, store buyers are actually encouraging marketers to support their retail shelf space with DRTV campaigns.
7. No Better Time for Bargain Media Rates
Spot DRTV media is regularly purchased as remnant time at 10 50% off rate card. In the current recession-driven soft advertising market, DRTV media rates are down even more -- between 10% and 20% on average as TV stations and cable networks respond to deteriorating ad revenues by exchanging entertainment programming for paid 30-minute commercial slots, rates are also beginning to come down for long-form DRTV media. And, with people now entertaining themselves more at home, TV viewing households and hours are on the rise.
8. A Powerful and Highly Versatile Platform
Just as with general TV advertising, ongoing DRTV campaigns lift sales in other channels and can be seamlessly incorporated into a fully integrated marketing plan. With its ability to do the heavy lifting while simultaneously delivering efficiency and effectiveness metrics, DRTV can be utilized in a variety of tactical ways. The most common tactical use of DRTV by major brands is to create a DRTV commercial that powerfully drives retail store sales, while partially offsetting the cost of media with direct sale revenues. DRTV campaigns have also launched many CRM initiatives within companies new to one-on-one marketing and previously unaware of the value of a large, dynamic customer database. Companies often repurpose the DRTV footage for POS and optimizing their websites. Time after time, DRTV has measurably been proven to outperform general TV advertising in terms of delivering vast amounts of valuable information and lifting overall ROI of advertising budgets.
9. The More You Tell, The More You Sell
30, 60, 120 seconds or 28- minutes. Its your choice. Many consumer goods and services marketers have discovered that a longer format TV spot can more effectively differentiate and demonstrate the superiority of their product, uphold their brand standards and deliver competitive CPPs to drive retail sales.
10. The Time is Right
DRTV is structurally well-suited to thrive during difficult times, and current media billings prove it. During the two notable recessions our nation has suffered during the past 20 years, DRTV billings were robust. In fact, the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) reports that DRTV grew roughly 10 percent during the early-90s recession. And it is dramatically growing again in 2009.
If these 10 good reasons get your strategic marketing juices flowing, then it might be worth your while to have a brief discovery conversation with some DRTV-integrated marketing experts with dozens of brand company success stories and case histories to draw from to test some of your thinking. Compared to whats at stake, whats the risk in learning more?

Be over-friendly, over-excited, wildly outrageous, flirtatious, funny, morbid, SOMETHING that the audience won't expect. And do it in a big way. You have to overdo in radio for the emotion to get across the airwaves. This is a big disappointment for a show host/producer, a guest who says they will be entertaining, and doesn't deliver. 7. Become a frequent caller to your local radio show. Call in with jokes, funny stories, Christmas shopping ideas, road conditions, whatever. As long as you are witty and entertaining, the show's host will probably keep putting you on the air. If you add something to his/her show, he/she will LOVE you for it and be more likely to let you plug your business on occasion. 8. Become an expert on something that many people want to know about. Ski conditions, gardening, fishing, hunting, soap operas, sunbathing, etc. Then call your local station on a regular basis (like every Wednesday morning) and give reports You need not to be a Hollywood star just to have the right and privilege of wearing an alexander mcqueen clothing, it is every woman's freedom to own and wear a Alexander Mcqueen for as long as they want.. You may become a regular character on the show! (You can do this on several stations and they don't necessarily have to be local) 9. Call when you say you will. You ruin it for yourself and everyone else in the future if you are not reliable. It's amazing how many guests make an appointment for interviews, get pre-interview promotion on the air, and then neglect to call and do the interview. It makes the radio station look bad and it makes interviewees in general look bad. 10. Offer them something to give to their listeners. Include this information on your website. Please make it something that will be exciting enough to give away on the air. A copy of your book about "Relationships" is probably not going to cut it. BUT a copy of your book about relationships AND a pair of heart -covered boxer shorts (or something else unusual) MAY. 11. Create an interview kit. This can be included on your website, emailed to the show's host in advance or sent via mail service after the interview is booked. Include suggested questions, a bio of the interviewee, samples of the product, a list of interesting (and fun!) facts about the interviewee and/or the product, an easy-to-find telephone number or web address to be given to the audience for more information.
